Jennifer McCray Rincón Director - has received her BA in Theatre Studies from Yale University and an MFA in Directing from the Yale School of Drama. She was recipient of an NEA Directing Fellowship at Playwrights Horizons in NYC and a Fulbright Teaching Fellowship in Bogota, Colombia. Ms. Rincon was Staff Repertory Director of The Acting Company from 1987-1989 under her long term associate, Gerald Gutierrez. After many years in New York, Ms. Rincón came to Denver as the Head of Acting at the National Theatre Conservatory, where she remained from 1991 through 2008. At the DCPA Ms. Rincón taught acting in the 3-year MFA Acting program and directed over 100 productions including Equus, Othello, The Laramie Project, Romeo and Juliet, Twelfth Night, The 365 Project, Monte Carlo, and co-directed Expedition 6 by Bill Pullman. In Denver, Ms. Rincon has also directed for El Centro Su Teatro, Shadow Theatre, The Historic Old Elitches Theatre, and was Founding Artistic Director of the Lizard Head Theatre Company in Telluride. She founded Visionbox Studio in 2010 to provide professional actor training to Denver student and professional actors while also developing new work for production. Visionbox productions and workshops have included The Othello Project, My Two Sisters, All the World: Solo Shakespeare Festival, and The Wild Hunt by Bill Pullman.

Bill Pullman Co-Artistic Director has film credits that span ninety features with directors including David Lynch, Wim Wenders, Mel Brooks, Roland Emerich, and Nora Efron. His Broadway credits include Edward Albee's Tony Award-winning play The Goat, or Who is Sylvia?. He has been nominated for four Drama Desk awards for Best Actor. He directed and produced the TNT movie The Virginian (Best Picture/Wrangler Award, 2000). For his role in the current cable series The Sinner he has been nominated for a Critics Circle Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award. In his community work, he co-founded Hollywood Orchard, a non-profit initiative that, since 2011, has organized neighbors to harvest and share fruit from urban environments. Bill serves on the boards of Alfred University and If Not Us Then Who.

This beloved American holiday classic comes to captivating life as a live 1940s radio broadcast. With the help of an ensemble that brings a few dozen characters to the stage, the story of idealistic George Bailey unfolds as he considers ending his life one fateful Christmas Eve. 

This production, presented by Visionbox Studio, is part of a new theatre education and production company, Visionbox Vail Summer Theatre Institute, founded by Co-Artistic Directors Jennifer McCray Rincon and Bill Pullman. The Visionbox Professional Ensemble will make up the cast for this holiday classic.
